Rachael Curtis is a Licensed Massage Therapist, and she is grateful to say that she loves what she does. She has been with Altitude Chiropractic and Massage for over a year and a half, and loves working with such great people, who are like-minded in their passion to make a real difference in the quality of life of the people who come through their door. She has been licensed in the state of Alaska since 2013, but her journey with massage has been a life-long experience. Her hands were searching out tension long before she thought of massage as a career; for as long as she can remember she has been massaging friends and family, and now that she has made it into a career, she feels she doesn’t work a day in her life. She looks forward to furthering her knowledge of body work and health, through experience, and the many continued education opportunities that are available in her multi-faceted, rewarding career.
Angela Irvin is a Licensed Massage Therapist, trained through the Alaska Institute of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, and Massage Therapy. She has been a resident of Eagle River for over 37 years, where she enjoys hiking with her dogs, nature photography, and spending time with her husband and son. Angela spent a rewarding 24 years working in the field of veterinary medicine, before taking a short break to be a stay-at-home mom, after which she decided to launch into the study of massage therapy. It wasn’t a big leap to go from the compassionate care of furry friends to the compassionate care of not so furry ones. Angela thinks she has a great sense of humor; others are not so sure.
Trina Wirtanen is the Office Manager for Altitude Chiropractic and is a life-long Alaskan. She was born and raised in the Mat-Su Valley. After living in some of the smaller cities, like Willow and Talkeetna, Trina returned back to Palmer, where she currently resides and has one adult son. After going to school and becoming a phlebotomist, Trina worked at the Blood Bank of Alaska for several years before returning to school and completing her CMA. Over the next 19 years in the medical field, she gained the skills and knowledge to allow her to manage a busy chiropractic office. On her time off, you can find her hiking in the mountains, camping with family, or hunting to fill the freezer.
